Carey’s Furniture does not engage in price discrimination. We believe we should offer the same low price to everyone regardless of their negotiation skills; therefore the advertised price is our final price. Furthermore we also abstain from price fixing, gouging & skimming.
Price Guarantee Items purchased with a verified lower price within 30 days of invoice are eligible for a 100% refund of the difference, availability restrictions may apply. Verification may include; dated advertisements, pictures, texts & links from a full-service furniture retailer. This includes Carey's Furniture & all furniture retailers that service your area.

All product pricing, descriptions, images, and specifications in-store or on our website are subject to change at any time without notice. Although we make every effort to ensure the information is accurate and up-to-date, an occasional discrepancy may occur. We reserve the right to revoke any stated offer and correct any error, inaccuracy, or omission. We maintain the right to refund or cancel orders placed at the incorrect price.
Sales Tax Orders delivered or shipped out of state (Iowa) WILL NOT be charged sales tax. In state orders will be charged 7% sales tax.
Delivery
Three delivery packages to choose from starting at $19.99. Delivery packages include; 50 miles of travel ($2 each additional mile), pre inspection & assembly. For package details see Delivery/Service.
Dispatch queuing begins after the purchase of in-stock merchandise, special-ordered items arrive & payment obligations are satisfied. Priority Dispatching is a negotiated delivery time & Group Dispatching is non-negotiated that will be completed within 14 business days. Customers will receive a delivery notice at least one day prior to delivery.
If a delivery is declined by the customer, the delivery will return to the queue for a second courtesy dispatch (group).
Carey's Furniture is not responsible to remove obstacles including; handrails, doors, existing furniture, or snow that may hinder the delivery crew.
Carey's Furniture does not require anyone to be home during the delivery; however pertinent detailed instructions must be provided in advance.
Disposal must be arranged in advance, $10 for each item/seat.
Customer Pick Up
Two convenient on-site drive-up locations are open 7 days a week (closed Sundays, Memorial Day - Labor Day).
To be prepared, we recommend you have an adequate-sized transport vehicle or trailer clear of debris, and shipping materials including blankets & tie downs. Customers must have sufficient help to load and secure potentially heavy items. Buyer assumes all risks associated with the transport of merchandise picked up.
For existing orders please let us know 24 hours in advance the approximate date & time you’re planning your pick-up.
Special Purchase Order
A minimum 20% deposit is required or 100% for custom special order items unless financing has been secured.
Availability & ETS (Estimated Time to Ship) of merchandise is estimated according to information from the manufacturer. Carey’s Furniture is not responsible for delays occasioned by the manufacturer, vendor, or shipper.
For order updates text Status? to: 712-225-4501 (only from the primary contact's phone). Items that have been status checked via text with a deferred ETS 60 days or more may be eligible for cancelation, exempt from the Cancel/Return policy providing the order can be rescinded with the vendor.
After special ordered items have been received from the shipper, they will automatically be invoiced.
Cancel/Return
All items are subject to a 10% cancel/return fee (of purchase price) after 2 business hours of purchase.
Custom special order items may not be canceled after 48 hours of purchase.
Returns must be processed within 48 hours of customer taking possession. Clearance, stained, soiled, exposed to smoke, or misused items by the customer are not eligible. Mattresses without a Sleep Trial and foundations may not be returned after plastic has been removed.
Refunds are subject to a 4% fee (of purchase price) after 2 business hours of purchase and can take up to 48 hours to process.
If you need a Carey’s truck to pick up your items for return applicable service rates apply.
Damages & Defects
All items are subject to manufacturer’s warranty. Carey's Furniture is a full service furniture & flooring retailer with factory trained technicians that will work with manufacturers & subcontractors on behalf of customers if manufacturing, shipping or installation issues arise.
Carey's Furniture will replace or repair items found to be damaged or defective throughout the entire manufacturer's warranty period (service rates may apply). Damaged or defective items are not exempt from the Cancel/Return policy.
Certain actions, such as misuse, may render a warranty or services invalid. Clearance items are considered As Is and may not be eligible for a manufacturer's warranty.
Billing
Past due invoices will be assessed 1.5% of the outstanding balance or minimum $2 service (finance) charge following the last day of each month. Additionally if no payment is made within the previous month a $15.00 penalty will also be assessed.
Invoices past due 30 days (without payment arrangements secured) are subject to the Cancel/Return policy. Debtor is liable for all collection fees & court costs.
Returned checks are subject to a $20.00 service charge in addition to applicable bank charges.
Privacy
Carey's Furniture is the sole owner of the information collected. We only have access to/collect information that you voluntarily give us via email or other direct contacts from you. We will not sell or rent information to anyone. We will use your information to respond to you, regarding the reason you contacted us. We will not share your information with any third party outside of our organization, other than as necessary to fulfill your request, e.g. to ship an order.
Unless you ask us not to, we may contact you in the future to inform you about service bulletins, specials, new products, services, or changes to this privacy policy.
We take precautions to protect your information. When you submit sensitive information, your information is protected both online and offline. Sensitive information (such as credit card data), is encrypted and transmitted to us in a secure way. You can verify this by looking for a lock icon in the address bar and looking for "https" at the beginning of the address of the web page.
Our website may contain links to other sites. Please be aware that we are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of such other sites.
