Policies

Price Guarantee:

Items purchased with a verified lower price within 30 days of invoice are eligible for a 100% refund of the difference. Verification may include; dated advertisements, pictures, texts & links from a full service furniture retailer including Carey’s Furniture.

Price Match:

Exact items with a verified lower price by a, full service, furniture retailer are eligible for price match. Verification may include; dated advertisements, pictures, texts & links.

Delivery:

Three delivery packages to choose from starting at $19.99. All packages include; 50 miles of travel ($2 each additional mile), pre inspection & assembly. For details see Delivery/Service.

Dispatch queuing begins after the purchase of in stock merchandise, special ordered items arrive & payment obligations are satisfied. Priority Dispatching is a negotiated delivery time & Group Dispatching is non-negotiated that will be completed within 14 business days. Customers will receive a delivery notice at least one day prior to delivery. If a delivery is declined by the customer, the delivery will return to the queue for a second courtesy dispatch.

Carey’s Furniture is not responsible to remove obstacles including; handrails, doors, existing furniture or snow that may hinder the delivery crew.

Carey’s Furniture does not require anyone to be home during the delivery; however pertinent detailed instructions must be provided in advance.

Disposal must be arranged in advance, $10 each item/seat.

Customer Pick-Up:

Two convenient on-site drive up locations open 7 days a week (closed Sundays, Memorial Day - Labor Day).

To be prepared, we recommend you have an adequate sized transport vehicle or trailer clear of debris, shipping materials including blankets & tie downs. Customers must have sufficient help to load and secure potentially heavy items. Buyer assumes all risks associated with transport of merchandise picked-up.

For existing orders please let us know in advance the approximate date & time you’re planning your pick-up.

Special Purchase Order:

Deposit of 14% is required or 100% for custom special order items unless financing has been secured.

Availability of merchandise is estimated according to information from the manufacturer. Carey’s Furniture is not responsible for delays occasioned by the manufacturer, vendor or shipper. For order updates text Status? to 712-225-4501 (only from primary contact’s phone).

After special ordered items have been received from the shipper, they will automatically be invoiced.

Cancel/Return:

All items are subject to a minimum 12% cancel/return fee (of purchase price) after 2 business hours of purchase.

Custom special order items may not be canceled after 48 hours of purchase.

Returns must be processed within 48 hours of customer taking possession. Clearance, stained, soiled, exposed to smoke or misused items by the customer are not eligible. Mattresses without a Sleep Trial and foundations may not be returned after plastic has been removed.

Refunds are subject to a 2% fee (of purchase price) and can take up to 48 hours to process.

Damages & Defects:

All items are subject to manufacturer warranty. Carey's Furniture is a full service furniture & flooring retailer with factory trained technicians that will work with manufacturers on behalf of customers if manufacturing or shipping issues arise.

Clearance items are considered As Is and may not be eligible for manufacturer’s warranty.

Privacy:

Carey’s Furniture is the sole owner of information collected. We only have access to/collect information that you voluntarily give us via email or other direct contact from you. We will not sell or rent information to anyone. We will use your information to respond to you, regarding the reason you contacted us. We will not share your information with any third party outside of our organization, other than as necessary to fulfill your request, e.g. to ship an order.

Unless you ask us not to, we may contact you in the future to inform you about service bulletins, specials, new products, services, or changes to this privacy policy.

We take precautions to protect your information. When you submit sensitive information, your information is protected both online and offline. Sensitive information (such as credit card data), is encrypted and transmitted to us in a secure way. You can verify this by looking for a lock icon in the address bar and looking for "https" at the beginning of the address of the web page.

Our website may contain links to other sites. Please be aware that we are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of such other sites. We encourage our users to be aware when they leave our site to read the privacy statements of any other site that collects personally identifiable information.

While we use encryption to protect sensitive information transmitted online, we also protect your information offline. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, billing or customer service) are granted access to personally identifiable information.
